After I graduated in the last week, I have finally been able to update our webpage. With next years plans still up in the air, I do know this. I have been released as the driver of the D & R motorsports 91 Eagle. I want to thank Dale for a great year supporting me, and I wish him the best next year. For our team, Dad has a brand new 06 Maxim that is being assembled, motors will be worked on and we believe that dad will be able to race at the start of the 06 season. For me I am in talks with some opportunities to be hired. If nothing happens and I do not get a ride, I have updated the maxim I ran last year for 6 times. I will have my good motor back and will drive a full schedule in my car. As far as tracks and series we will run, that is also up in the air, we should have a schedule up and finalized by the beginning of February. Check in for future updates.

It has been a long semester at school, and therefore I am sorry that I have not been able to update the webpage as much as I would have liked. The season took an unexpected turn after Gold Cup little did we know that that would be the last race for both my dad and myself for quite awhile. During a nasty flip during the invitational Civil War race on the Wednesday before Gold cup Dad ended up hurting his leg where he had to step out of the seat for the rest of the year and the beginning of next year. Me on the other hand was perfectly fine for racing, the week after Gold Cup I some how got Bacterial Meningitis. This ended up making me miss the final two Civil War races, because of a couple week stay in the hospital.

Fall Nationals was the first time back for me after my illness. The weekend was less than spectacular; I qualified late on Friday, had a bad number and pretty much ended my weekend right there. It was fun however to be back at the track to see my friends, and to get back in the car. Trophy Cup was fun, Tulare is one of the most exciting racetracks I have ever raced on. We would like to thank Billy Wallace for filling in for my dad at the Trophy Cup; we learned from each other and ended up having a blast. Just like Fall Nationals a bad qualify night but me behind but it was that last race. The C main on Friday was one of the most fun nights of the year. I started 11th and was racing with Laurence Edmond for forth when I tried doing a cross over from the top to the bottom down the back, I entered to low and to slow into three and when I stood back on the gas, The car looped and I finished 10th. It really was a bad deal, It was one of the best races that I raced all year and to go and make a mistake was no good. If I would not have spun out the weekend would of ended up different. I would really like to thank Dale Wondergem for putting me into the D & R Motorsports Eagle, sponsored by LJ's Speed and Machine and JB raciingcomponents.

Next year will be exciting for Tabor Racing, the schedule plans are up in the air also the car and motor situations. As of right now we know that Dad will be in a New 06 Maxim, I plan on myself getting an 87/40 Maxim raised rail. The motor situation is still in the air with my primary motor being apart still from 04 Trophy Cup. Other than that, I do not know which car I will be in or with what motor. As plans come together stay tuned and check in for updates and permanent news.

The sixth of August turned out to be a great weekend for us at Tabor Racing. For the First time in over a month I raced my own car. The Maxim of the 38n worked great. I got lucky and pulled an early number where I was able to hold off for fast time. This is also the first time I have ever got fast time. Because of the summer heat the track was really not passable so therefore I did not transfer out of me heat and started back in the A and is where I finished. However when I drew the pill I put my dad on the pole and he took off and lead the entire distance. It was a great night for us; it was a Tabor kind of night at Twin Cities Speedway in Marysville California.

Last week I bought the domain name marktabor.com. Now I have finally moved the website from the long domain name of the schools server to my own. Hope everyone enjoys it.

5-27-05

With the month of May coming to an end, so many great things have happened. Dad won his first race in over 7 years in late April. I finished my second to last semester in college with a 3.4 and not to mention my 24th birthday today.

3-14-05

A big development and a huge opportunity has come to me. Dale Wondergem owner of the D & R motorsports Number 91 wants me to drive his car this year. I am thrilled to have the chance to race the 04 eagle sponsored by LJ's Speed and Machine and JB Racing components. With this development the schedule has changed somewhat. Please check in with our schedule page for further information.

11-26-05

We are excited to announce the acquiring of a 04 Maxim, this car will be the test car for my dad and myself. With some modifications, we are still planning on predominantly running our 03 JB chassis. With the car situation in place, the focus will be to first, get our 2 best motors back up and running from a dismal Trophy cup; second to make them have the power that they should have.
There are some changes in our schedule for the 2005 season. We are not planning on running for points at any specific track. The plan is to go have fun and race as much as possible. Like last year we are mainly going to focus on the California Civil War Series. For the remainder of the races, we will be just about everywhere, Placerville, Rebel Cup, Golden State Challenge, Twin Cities Speedway, Chico on Friday nights, with possibilities of NST and select USAC non wing races. As you can see we will be at many different places for the 2005 season.

Please check in periodically to our schedule page. As soon as we plan a tentative schedule for the 2005 season we will post it.

Thank you and check in periodically.
